VedaCortex™ acts as the Data Fiduciary, meaning we determine why and how your data is processed.

We collect only the minimum data necessary to provide our services:

• Identity & Contact: Name (optional), Email, and Mobile Number.
• Astrological Input: Date, Time, and Exact Location of birth (Latitude/Longitude).
• Technical Logs: IP address and browser type for security and session management via AWS.

3. Purpose of Processing

Your data is processed strictly for these lawful purposes:

• Report Generation: To calculate your birth chart and generate AI-driven interpretations.
• Communication: To send your purchased reports and provide technical support.
• Compliance: To meet tax and billing requirements under Indian Law.

4. AI Inference & Data Processors

To generate your reports, we utilize third-party Data Processors:

• AI Processing: Your birth data is processed by Google Gemini API to generate astrological text.
• Hosting: All data is securely stored on AWS/Google Cloud servers located within India/Asia-Pacific.
• Payments: Financial data is processed exclusively by Razorpay; we do not store your card or UPI details.

We implement "Reasonable Security Practices" to protect your information:

• Encryption: All data in transit is protected via TLS 1.3 (SSL) encryption.
• Anonymization: We aim to anonymize astrological data before passing it to AI models whenever possible.

• Access & Correction: Request a summary of your data or correct inaccuracies.
• Erasure: Request the deletion of your personal data ("Right to be Forgotten").

• Withdrawal: You may withdraw your consent for data processing at any time.

8. Children's Privacy & Guardian Consent

VedaCortex™ is primarily intended for users aged 18 and above. While we do not use automated age-verification, we do not knowingly collect personal data directly from minors.

• Parental Responsibility: If you are providing birth details for a minor (under 18), you represent and warrant that you are the child's legal guardian and hereby provide express consent for the processing of such data for the sole purpose of generating the requested Report.
• Data Protection: We do not track, profile, or target advertising toward minors. If we become aware that a minor has accessed the service without parental involvement, we reserve the right to delete that data immediately.
